iPhone Otaku was established with the iPhone and the App Store in mind. Sounds obvious, right? Well, that's the point.

We understand that the bulk of the App Store is populated with games and applications put together by micro-developers - often single person studios. We also understand that these small studios can't afford the kind of hefty advertising costs associated with building awareness of their products, so we've designed a system to cater for that massive, yet unheard App Store populace.

iPhone Otaku works the same way you do - by providing a low cost product that's easy to access, which you intend to sell a lot of to provide profit. Our advertising slots work exactly the same way. The iPhone Otaku web page is populated with lots of smaller advertising slots that anyone can afford, and have a high turn over rate of advertisers. That way, we can offer rates from as low as $10 for a weekly slot, and still bring in our operating costs. Even our premier advertising slot (the screen inside the iPhone in the header) can be taken for as little as $100.

By streamlining our entire system and making everything ultra simple, we've reduced our overheads to keep the advertising rates astoundingly low, while still providing the quality iPhone content to bring in the Apple-user community. We've dispensed with complex advertising structures, such as cost per clicks, CPAs, take-overs and all that other stuff that forces a publication to hire advertising specialists, full time web designers and expensive software. All iPhone Otaku's advertising slots are simple - a set cost, booked in advance, for a set amount of time (typically one week), and you put what you want in that slot. We make no apologies for keeping our entire system slick and streamlined - that's how we're able to cater for the small developer.
